4 New & Improved Things To See at Admirals Cove

The Admiral’s Cove Clubhouse and Facilities Project was voted upon and approved by the members on November 28, 2012.   The project has a start date of April 16, 2012 and a scheduled completion date of  November 15, 2012.  In order to maintain its position as a leading private club, Admiral’s Cove, is acutely aware of the expectations of the members and addresses the issues.  The Club is always enhancing the member experience.  Additional space has been requested for some of the more popular areas of the club facilities including the pool, fitness center, outdoor restaurant, and children’s areas.

DIVE IN…

The new Facilities Project at Admiral’s Cove plans to replace the existing clubhouse pool with an expanded tropical atmosphere and beachfront entrance to the pool area.  Family friendly seating and a designated serenity pool area surround the pool deck.  A separate children’s pool and fountains will be in the same pool area for the youngsters.  Additional cabanas have been added for the members use and enjoyment.


RUNNING OUT OF EXCUSES

Results of the 2011 member survey stated that the Fitness Center was “crowded during peak hours and wait time”.   As a result of that survey, the overall space will be expanded from 3,027sf to 4,851sf and the Physical Therapy space will also be increased. Cardiovascular and strength areas will be expanded.  New functional and stretching spaces will be added. The members also noted in the survey that there was insufficient space for Pilates.  The Pilates area will be doubled to meet the demand. Ladies and men’s locker rooms will feature dry sauna and state of the art steam room. Additionally, new group fitness studio and separate spinning studio will bring members to their peak performance!


SINK YOUR TEETH INTO THIS

The agreeable year-round climate here at Admiral’s Cove deems it necessary that the Marina Café be enhanced and enjoyed by members more frequently.  The update will offer temperature controlled indoor seating of about 103 people including the bar.  The total capacity of the Marina café will increase to 195. NanaWall hurricane bi-fold resistant glass doors may be opened to enhance your outdoor experience.  Delicious menu items are planned for savory dining experience.  The Marina Café is located poolside and will feature a covered walkway from the Marina Café to Bayside Grille.  Upon completion of café improvements members will be thankful for the fitness center to work off the calories, lounge poolside, or jump in golf cart from the new undercover golf cart parking.


COVE LOVES KIDS

Here at Admiral’s Cove, one thing is abundantly clear is that, members care!  
Members are concerned about their children and their grandchildren being safe and having safe, fun places to be.  Concerns of limited children’s outdoor area and no teenage areas have been addressed.  In addition to the children’s pool and playground that are already in place, the improvement plan has some recommendations solve these concerns.  A youth technology center and arcade has been designated and recommended for children, “tweens”, and teens.  A fun new water feature in the pool area has also been recommended in the pool area.  Along with the existing successful “Covesters” youth program, a new designated area to provide a more fulfilling program experience.
